Italy in the ValleyThe only event of its kind in the state, Italy in the Valley serves up nothing but Italian wine varietals made here in Oregon. Held at Cana’s Feast Winery in Carlton, wine lovers will find a wide variety of white and red wines from Arneis to Zinfandel’s Italian cousin Primitivo. With music from the old country played by an accordion maestro, you’re sure to feel transported to Italy while sipping some unique and uncommon wines.

Ed Fus, owner and winemaker at Angel Vine Wine, says this about the event;

“Angel Vine has participated at Italy In the Valley every year since it began in 2009. Italy in the Valley is our favorite event of the summer because it’s almost like sitting at an Italian bistro on Sienna’s Piazza and tasting an awesome selection of Oregon wines. The setting, the food, the music, the bocce, and especially the wine combine to make a great afternoon.”

Foodies will delight in the samples available by Fino in Fondo Salumeria, Gelato Maestro and the Oregon Olive Mill. A light lunch, all wine tasting and the feeling of being in the Italian countryside are included in the ticket purchase.
