Willamette Valley AVA
This sparkling dry rosé wine, made from Pinot noir grapes, was a pale salmon peach color with delicate bubbles that danced to the surface. With aromas of strawberries and just a hint of maple syrup, the wine tasted like strawberries and slightly unripe yellow peaches. It had excellent acidity, nice bubbles and would pair well with everything from oysters to a cheese plate.
Winemaker and owner John Albin has had a varied career, brewing first beer and then spending a number of years with one of Oregon’s largest wineries, King Estate. An unpretentious man who loves tending to his grapes, Albin started his own label in 2000.
We think this wine might only be available for sale at the winery.
