Yamhill-Carlton sub AVA
Willamette Valley AVA
Winerabbler Michele really liked this wine. It was a deep garnet red in the glass with black cherries, raspberries and an earthy dustiness that’s typical in Willamette Valley Pinots. On the palate were flavors of red cherries, raspberries, cocoa and sandalwood with a lovely, long finish.
These grapes were grown on the west side of the Lenné Estate vineyard and this bottling used the best barrels from the Karen block. As you can probably gather, this Pinot noir is made using all Pommard grapes.
