North Coast AVA
bright sunshine yellow, this easy sipper made our mouths water as we stuck our noses in our glasses. There were abundant aromas of honeysuckle, melon and white flowers, along with a flinty matchstick and a savory component with a hint of petrol. The tartness that made our mouths water as well as the flintiness on the nose continued on the palate. Our glasses were filled with notes of honeydew melon, apricots, lemon zest and a hint of mint. This wine had a nice full mouthfeel and acidity with a kiss of sweetness on the finish. With such nice acid levels, it would be great match for a creamy, garlic alfredo sauce.
