This wine was a real treat to drink! The 2013 vintage has really come into its own with more time in the bottle and this Pinot is a great example of  how bottle aging a wine can help it blossom into something elegant and rich.

When we swirled and smelled this Pinot noir, we uncovered aromas of freshly cut rosemary, dried mission figs and cocoa powder. And when we sipped, red cherries, strawberry jam and dried mission figs danced across our tongues. The acidity and tannins in this wine have mellowed into a long, cocoa powder finish that leaves one longing for another sip.

Pair with oven baked rosemary chicken, special friends or a garlic-crusted roast rack of lamb.
