New York, NY – Premium journey brand, Moleskine, announced today an exclusive Moleskine Journey Package in partnership with the historic New York City hotel, The Beekman, to celebrate the beginning of the summer travel season and inspire the many journeys ahead.

The two iconic brands have joined forces, inviting you to embark on a New York City journey this summer – Moleskine, the heritage brand synonymous with culture, travel, memory, imagination and personal identity, and The Beekman, whose heritage is ingrained with some of history’s most influential cultural icons.

The Moleskine journey continues beyond the pages of the classic notebooks with its newest collection of bags. The Moleskine ID Bag is your mobile identity and spotlights the iconic features borrowed from the classic Moleskine notebook – rounded corners, elastic closure and attention to detail. The Moleskine ID Bag is paired with the Moleskine Journey Travel Kit – with room for a tablet, e-reader, notebook or documents, you can adapt the contents to suit your adventure and protect your belongings against any unexpected bumps in the road.

“As a journey brand, we are excited to work with The Beekman on a curated, premium hotel package for the guests to indulge in this summer,” says Arrigo Berni, CEO of Moleskine. “Moleskine is dedicated to offering products like the Moleskine ID Bag to carry our mobile identity – objects that follow us everywhere we go and identify us wherever we are in the world. New York City is a vibrant place that attracts travelers from all walks of life and we want to elevate their contemporary, nomadic lives.”

5 Beekman, the historical site where the Beekman is located, hosted a succession of creative and academic achievements including the US debut of Shakespeare’s Hamlet in 1871 and the establishment of Clinton Hall, where writers such as Edgar Allan Poe and Mark Twain honed their craft and where New York University launched its inaugural classes in 1832.

“We have been fans of Moleskine for years and we look forward to further nurturing our relationship to keep our two historic brands aligned.” says Rob Andrews, Managing Director of The Beekman. “This exclusive premium package enhances the extraordinary history and unique cultural experience The Beekman Hotel offers to its guests, whether they are new to New York City or seasoned visitors.”

A limited amount of The Beekman Moleskine Journey Package will be available to book starting, Tuesday, May 16, 2017, through The Beekman website at www.thebeekman.com or by contacting the reservations office at The Beekman at 1-855-523-3562.

About Moleskine

Moleskine as a brand was created in 1997, inspired to bring back the essential, nameless black notebook used by famous writers and artists like Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Ernest Hemingway, and Bruce Chatwin that was long out of print. Today, the Moleskine brand encompasses a family of objects: notebooks, diaries, journals, bags, writing instruments and reading accessories, to enhance productivity and creativity in our nomadic lives.  The home office in Milan, Italy includes wholly-owned subsidiaries, Moleskine America, Inc. (established in 2008), Moleskine France (2013), Moleskine Germany (2013) and Moleskine Asia Ltd (2011), which controls Moleskine Shanghai and Moleskine Singapore.
