Bon Naso label–FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE–

PORTLAND, Ore. November 24, 2015 – Holiday shopping is tastier when paired with handmade fresh ravioli from Portland’s masters of pasta. The Pastaworks location on SE Hawthorne will stay open later on Tuesday, December 8th from 5-8 p.m. for Pasta Festa, a festive shopping event with complimentary Pastaworks ravioli and freshly baked focaccia, as well as samples of Pastaworks’ custom-blend, limited edition Bon Naso (good nose) pinot noir blended by Pastaworks’ Kevin de Garmo and Jay Somers of J. Christopher Wines. Back for the first time in a decade, this wildly popular custom label wine is blended from Dundee Hills select barrels chosen by de Garmo and Somers. Bon Naso is available exclusively at Pastaworks and City Market NW for $25.

Some of Pastaworks’ local purveyors will be on site to sample their delicious products, including:

  • Olympia Provisions– Elias Cairo, co-owner and charcuterie expert, will sign his new cookbook, Olympia Provisions: Cured Meats and Tales from an American Charcuterie and share samples of his renowned charcuterie.
  • Pok Pok Som– Dylan Meyers, operations manager of Pok Pok Som, will mix festive cocktails made with Som and sample the new Pok Pok Som soda.
  • JChristopher Wines– Jay and Ronda Somers will be pouring Bon Naso pinot noir, which they blended in collaboration with Pastaworks’ Kevin de Garmo, as well as some J. Christopher favorites.
“As we transition to our new location at Providore Fine Foods in late January, we want to celebrate more than three decades of festive holidays in our Hawthorne location,” said co-owner Kaie Wellman. “Stop by to share a memory or two, dine on fresh ravioli and pick up unique food gifts for the holidays.”
