September 27, 2016 (Portland, OR) – This week, Portland Cider Company unveils new 6-pack bottles for their original flagship ciders Kinda Dry & Sorta Sweet. Available year-round, the new package format of these popular ciders creates a convenient way for cider fans to carry, share and enjoy craft cider.
Portland Cider Company was founded in 2012 with only two ciders available – Kinda Dry & Sorta Sweet. Now Portland Cider Company commonly has more than 10 ciders available at any given time, with seasonals and limited release draft ciders throughout the year plus 6 year-round ciders. The Kinda Dry & Sorta Sweet are still the heart of the company and cidery, representing the backgrounds of both owners, Jeff & Lynda Parrish, making them the perfect choice for the new 6-pack bottles.
Kinda Dry is blended in the spirit of a traditional English cider, using 100% Northwest-grown apples, representing the heritage of Lynda’s hometown of Somerset, England, the mecca of cider. Sorta Sweet is a classic American cider, also made with 100% Northwest-grown apples, fermented to just the right amount of sweetness for any cider drinker. This cider represents Jeff’s history, growing up here in the Northwest.
Kinda Dry & Sorta Sweet 6-packs will be available year-round to Portland Cider Company distributors in Oregon, Washington, California and Colorado starting this week. Both ciders will also continue to be available in 22oz bottles, ½ bbl kegs and 1/6 bbl kegs.
