A-List LogoDo you have a favorite restaurant that you think best promotes and embraces Oregon wines? Or maybe a special sommelier who makes divine recommendations for wines grown and made in our state? Well, don’t hesitate to spread the love– nominate them for an Oregon Wine A-List award.

The 2015 Oregon Wine A-List Awards (formerly known as the Superior Cellar Awards), sponsored by the Oregon Wine Press and Oregon Wine Board, is open for nominations through November 30, 2014. Created as a way to guide consumers to restaurants that offer a selection of Oregon wines, the A-List has several categories including:

Oregon Wine A-List Restaurant

Oregon Wine A-List Regional Star Restaurant

Oregon Wine A-List Restaurant of the Year

Oregon Wine A-List Regional Sommelier of the Year

Oregon Wine A-List Sommelier of the Year

The A-List Awards also celebrates the restaurant industry’s commitment to offer wines produced right here in Oregon. Not only does this increase awareness of our local wines but encourages more people to drink Oregon wine. As wine lovers experience more locally made wines, they gain a greater appreciation for the exceptional quality of the wines we’re making. And once people taste how well Oregon wines pair with many types of dishes, oftentimes they’re hooked.

With Oregon wine fans around the globe, the A-List Awards are divided into both regional and far reaching categories. So if you’ve got a favorite wine industry professional that shares your love of Oregon wine while you’re traveling, be sure to nominate him or her before the November 30 deadline. The same goes for a restaurant in another state that caters to Oregon wine lovers. Regionally, the A-List Awards are broken down into the following areas; Portland Metro, Willamette Valley, Southern Oregon, Columbia Gorge, Oregon Coast/Central Oregon, and National/International.
