2014 J. Wrigley Vineyard Proposal Block Pinot noir

J. Wrigley Vineyard
McMinnville AVA
Willamette Valley
Oregon

This Pinot comes from the Proposal Block of the J. Wrigley Vineyard, named to commemorate the location that owner John Wrigley proposed to wife Jody. As you can imagine, any time a winemaker names something that reminds him of his wife, it’s bound to be extra special and filled with sentiment. This wine was made with love that you can taste with every sip!

After spending a full two years in French oak barrels, John created a wine that will age beautifully for years to come. At present, this Pinot is structured with notes of black cherries, cedar, bay leaf and mocha with a big tannic finish of chocolate covered cherries. Wow! Without being sweet, it’s practically dessert in a glass. The Winerabblers would suggest decanting this wine for a bit if you plan to drink now or cellaring it to enjoy in the future.

SRP $55.
