2014 Love and Squalor Gamay noir

Willamette Valley

130 cased produced

In case you’re not all that familiar with Gamay noir, like Pinot noir, it’s a super-food friendly wine that pairs with many different foods. And it’s got a bit of a cult following here in Oregon!

Matt Berson, owner/winemaker of Love and Squalor Wines, makes very small quantities of a lovely Gamay that is so affordable we encourage you to buy more than one bottle. This wine had an interested play between red fruit and earthy notes, starting with both red and sour cherries and rose petals that transformed into earth and bacon fat with a touch of mocha. Grippy tannins excited our mouths, making it a perfect pairing with BBQed meats, sliders, roasted chicken or eggplant dishes.

SRP $25.
