Wine made right here inside the city limits of Portland?

Amazing and true! The PDX Urban Wineries group is building momentum with nine wineries now making small batches of wine from their favorite grapes.

Come taste the fruits of their labor this Saturday, June 9 from 2-5pm during the PDX Urban Wineries 2nd Annual Summer Event. All the winemakers will be pouring their latest releases alongside appetizer pairings made by Cuisine Bebe Catering. Hungry sippers will also be able to taste Roll Chocolate’s delectable creations and goat cheese samples by Portland Creamery, all locally made.

Says Anne Hubatch of Helioterra Wines:

“I am looking forward to showcasing my wines along with my PDX colleagues. Of note, I will be pouring my two smallest production wines, both under 50 cases, my Mourvedre and my Vintner’s Select Pinot Noir!”

Tickets are just $20 if purchased in advance (either online or by phone) and $25 at the door. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn about the wines, directly from the winemakers themselves, and experience the different winemaking styles of this innovative group. Many are sourcing their grapes from throughout both Oregon and Washington so your tastebuds are guaranteed a tour of the Pacific Northwest.
