Bouquet:

Whiffs of red fruit rose out of my glass, including red plums, raspberries, and bing cherries. Those aromas turned savory, and I began to smell sandalwood and dried thyme, along with notes of cherry cola.

Palate:

I found this Pinot to be more delicate and light, my favorite kind! As I sipped, I tasted many of those red fruit notes from the bouquet. Bing cherries, marionberries, and raspberries transitioned into earthy cigar box and sandalwood. With tannins that softened with time in my glass, this Kramer Pinot noir was very well-rounded with a long finish. Drink slowly or decant for a little while so you can experience the nuances this wine exhibits with air contact.

Food pairing suggestions:

Oven-baked salmon with parmesan herb crust, vegan stuffed portabella mushrooms, pork shoulder roast with figs and garlic.
