Gewürztraminer is often sweet but, being a versatile grape, winemakers can coax it into a dry style. Winemaker Stephen Webber successfully did just that! This dry Gewürztraminer is unique and a real treat to drink if you can track some down (production is limited).

Color:

Golden yellow

Bouquet:

Very floral aromas rose from my glass as I swirled this wine! Along with flowers, I smelled mineral notes of gravel dust, tart green apples, and freshly grated ginger.

Palate:

This medium-bodied Gewürztraminer is very dry with abundant minerality and bright acidity! Flavors of apricots, apple turnovers, and lemons enveloped my entire mouth, then culminated into a pleasantly spicy finish.

Food pairing suggestions:

It’s a very food-friendly wine so don’t hesitate to get creative with your pairings! Some ideas are crisp scallop salad, apple gruyere grilled cheese sandwiches, choucroute garni.
