Bouquet:

With tart aromas of quince, lemons, and kumquats, I also smelled whiffs of lemon meringue pie.

Palate:

I was first struck by the abundant minerality and acidity in this Chardonnay. Mouth puckering tartness washed over my tongue– citrus flavors of lemons, lime, and lemon zest, along with wet stone. When I was a kid, I used to suck on lemons and this wine reminded me of the delight I used to get doing so! This Chardonnay had a clean, lemon-flavored ice milk finish that left me thirsty for my next sip.

Food pairing suggestions:

Oysters (a no-brainer food pairing) // chicken piccata // Chinese vegetable dumplings
