Oh, 2019 Willamette Valley Pinot noir, let me count the ways I love thee! If you’ve read any of my other tasting notes on them, you know I really ❤️ this vintage so now I’m adding this bottle to my growing list of favs.

With generous acidity, along with notes of fruit and earth, this Laurelwood District Pinot is super food-friendly. Don’t let the label fool you, likely this wine was labeled before the TTB had officially approved the new Laurelwood District AVA. which is within the larger Chehalem Mountains appellation (that resides within the even larger Willamette Valley AVA.)

Pro tip: stock up on the 2019 vintage since many wineries were affected by the wildfire smoke during harvest in 2020 and made little to no wine that year.
