Oregon wine: 2020 Native Flora Ruby Primo red wine
the back label explains:
"Rose all day!" "Drink Pink!" Oh, barf. Native Flora, a veteran rosé innovator, predates the oversaturated blush landscape. We're so dismayed with wimpy and sweet, that we're creating a new category – rubies. Deep, flavorful, dry, age-able, garnet jewels. Rubies are more in line with our true carmine aspirations.

I love the idea of a well-crafted rosé that unabashedly straddles the line between pink and red wine. Bright candy apple red, this “ruby” truly is in a class of its own. Abundant red fruit notes with a full mouthfeel, it delighted my palate with each sip.
Drink it while there’s still a chill in the air– it’s a perfect shoulder-season wine. Due to the extra weight and heft it possesses, this wine stands up nicely to sturdier dishes that might fold under a regular rosé. Pour this for your friends that think they only like red wine and my bet is it will be a hit!
