Oregon wine: 2021 Willamette Valley Vineyards Pinot blanc

The grapes in this wine come from Tualatin Estate Vineyard, a spot that holds a special place in the Winerabblers’ hearts. Matt and I like to say we fell in love again there. During the summer of 2009, while I was visiting Matt in Oregon, he suggested we drive to Tualatin Estate Vineyard for a tasting. On a warm summer day, sitting at a picnic table beneath a shade tree overlooking the vineyard, we re-fell in love (after many years apart)! That afternoon became a significant memory, one very important to our relationship.

I’m sure you can imagine our delight when we popped open this Pinot blanc. Notes of melon and tropical fruit– coupled with a long, spicy ginger finish– brought back such wonderful memories. I hope this wine brings as much joy to you!
