Syrah
Syrah (pronounced “se-RAH,” try singing the song in your head “que sera, sera, whatever will be will be…”) is typically made into red wine, and occasionally rosé. Syrah grapes are almost black in color with white pulp beneath the skin. Syrah has a deep, rich color– nearly opaque in one’s glass. With notes of pepper and spice, it’s a good food wine for heartier dishes.
