Great-grandpa Mercer settled on a parcel of land in the Horse Heaven Hills back in 1886. This land has been passed down over the generations since then. Then, in 1972, the current Mercer family members decided to plant grapes on the family property. In 2005, after 30 years of selling all their fruit to other wineries, the family decided to establish their own winery and Mercer Bros. was born!

Color:

Black plum

Bouquet:

Blackberries and plums joined harmoniously with aromas of vanilla and eucalyptus.

Palate:

Ripe and tart fruit notes of plums, black raspberries, pomegranates, and blackberries all swirled happily in my mouth as I sipped this wine. After spending 16 months in French and American oak, expect a well-integrated wine with a luscious, smooth, and silky mouthfeel and long finish!

Food pairing suggestions:

Grilled tofu and veggie skewers, beef brisket, wild mushroom galette.

SRP $20
