Color:

Amethyst purple

Bouquet:

This wine’s aromatics really jumped out of my glass! Fruity notes of cherries and cherry jam combined with earthy aromas of roasted coffee bean and minerally gravel dust.

Palate:

As I sipped, I tasted red fruit flavors of raspberries, strawberries, and cherry jam with a healthy dash of white pepper. With plenty of acidity– it was bright and tart– but also quite light, especially for a Syrah. I enjoyed its delicate manner and subtle tannins that gently caressed the sides of my tongue. It would surely complement many different types of dishes!

Food pairing suggestions:

Roasted vegetables with crushed hazelnuts, sausage and gouda risotto, pot roast.
