This red blend is an easy-drinking sipper named Frenchtown after the first French Canadians who settled in the Walla Walla Valley, bringing their grapevines and knowledge of viticulture and winemaking with them. Marcus Rafanelli, L’Ecole No 41’s winemaker, aged this red wine in mostly neutral oak barrels for 9 months before bottling. The wine then spent 6 more months in bottle before its release.
