This Chardonnay is filled with aromas of lemon meringue pie and lemon zest. These scents pair beautifully with the vanilla cream and crème brûlée notes also found in the wine.
Expect mouth-enveloping stone fruit textures and flavors of fuzzy peaches, apricots and nectarines, combined with citrusy lemons and lemon curd. Since just a portion of this Chardonnay went through malolactic fermentation, it retains a nice level of acidity, while delivering a lush, creamy mouthfeel.
Food pairing suggestions:
Pan-seared halibut fish // Mexican street corn and chicken tacos // clam chowder
