The Great American Distillers Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a two day event in NE Portland. Filled with more than 40 artisan spirit makers from around the country and close to home, attendees will have the opportunity to taste handcrafted rums, bourbons, whiskeys, vodkas and gins. Many of the distillers pouring samples will be those who have personally made the spirits in your glass.

As part of the celebration, the Great American Distillers Festival had a competition to judge the best label and overall packaging design. More than 100 bottles were submitted and the results were determined by a group of local media, bloggers and spirit enthusiasts. And the winners are:
Double Gold Medal: Finn’s Gin, Chicago Distilling Company in Chicago, IL
Gold Medal: Wild Roots Raspberry Vodka, Northwest Natural Spirits in Beaverton, OR (pictured above)
Silver Medal: Banner Natural Vodka, Banner Distilling Company in Coupland, TX
Bronze Medal: Sugar Wash Moonshine, Dutch’s Spirits in Port Chester, NY
